Somnia: From Digital Blueprint to Black Canvas

Every piece begins in the quiet dark of the mind before it meets the canvas.

To map out Somnia, I began with a graphite sketch on white paper—focusing on the subtle half-face, the dark arched brows, and the heavy raven feathers that fragment and drift down into soft eyelashes. By inverting the draft into a black base with white light lines, I now have the exact guide to begin working on the physical 70x70 cm matte black canvas.

From pure concept to tactile impasto and iridescent blue strokes, the creation continues. Follow along as the story builds from thought to reality.
